SPW Tips For Using This Kit
Use the softbox for control, the dome for speed. The octa softbox gives you more directional light with beautiful fall-off — perfect for portraits or dramatic mood. The dome’s quicker and more forgiving when you just need a soft fill light.
Barndoors are your best friend. Want more drama or separation? Use them to flag the light off your background or to carve in some shape. It’s a subtle touch that makes a big difference.
Set colour temperature with intent. Shooting indoors under warm lights? Dial in a warmer colour (around 3000K) to match. Want a clean neutral look? Stick to daylight (~5600K). Warmer light feels intimate, cooler light feels fresh and modern.
